mommy & me playdate

Using an Apron Strings kit from November '09

me. you.

I loved how this layout turned out!
I used an Apron Strings kit (including Crate Paper which I love!) from May 2009.

This Face

Created pulling together a lot of different elements fomr my stash.
Read the joirnalling to get the story... though i still can't explain this face she used to make!

Color Me Happy

Using an Apron Strings kit from April 2010

Rain

It's hard to read the white text, but it reads:
"Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain"

I used some of the the Apron Strings Bigger Than a Breadbox kit. If you zoom into the umbrella, you'll see rub-ons on the curve of the umbrella top and then rub-ons used to create the handle.
I used scallop scissors backwards to make water-peaks along the bottom strip.

I think it still needs "something" though??? In the upper left, running off the page maybe?

5 on Friday challenge

"Ready for my close-up"

Using just a small amount of an Apron Strings kit, here's my sumbission for the 5 on Friday challenge. (I stretched it to a double layout, adding only another sheet of cardstock) and bonus- I used so little of the kit, I'll easily get another layout out of it!!! :)

-1 sheet of cardstock (plus a 2nd for the opposite page)
-1 sheet of patterned paper
-1 something shiny (the hot pink pearls)
-1 something sparkly (I used Terrifically Tacky tape around the border and sprinkled on bronze glitter)
-1 something woven (velvet ribbon)

Card challenge

I don't usually make cards, but my sister-in-law deserves this one!

Apron Strings Wednesday challenge

Used an Apron Strings kit and PageMap recipe card to make this a double-layout.
